Block & Roll with Christen, Robin & Ellis
Date: Saturday, June 25
Time: 3:00- 5:00pm
Fee: $25 members; $30 for non-members
Learn to relax tight and contracted muscles, release emotional tension, and relieve stress in this 2-hour Self Myofascial Release Workshop.
With a yoga block and tennis ball, we will utilize techniques of compression and decompression on your muscles and you will leave feeling as if you just received a massage. The techniques are also designed to improve your blood and lymphatic circulation as well as digestion.
We will end with a 45-minute yoga nidra practice.
Just bring yourself and a mat. We will provide all the props you need for this workshop.
Introduction to AcroYoga with Christen & Kimberly
Date: Sunday, July 10th
Time: 10:00am- 12:00pm
Fee: $35 members; $40 everyone else
Join Christen and Kimberly as they introduce you to AcroYoga, a physical practice that combines yoga and acrobatics. We will start with partner yoga that will prepare us to move into acroyoga. This class is for students who are open and willing to step out of their comfort zone and into possibility. You do not need to come with a partner as we can partner you up. Acroyoga actually has 3 people per acroyoga unit- a base, a flyer and a spotter. There will be opportunities to try all 3 roles. Come and expose yourself to something new and a ton of fun.
